"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Matthew 25:40
Mercy Ministry is the arm through which we help meet the felt needs of communities through such activities as famine relief supplies during drought, medical camps and rescue operations in event of tribal clashes. GGFAN's Mercy Ministry works within our network of churches to reach the last, least and lost through acts of compassion and love.
"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38
We are the workers Jesus has called. Our primary focus is bringing the Gospel to Kenya's 22 least reached and unreached tribes and with the help of other churches, planting churches in those remote villages where there are none.
Currently we are working on our Nkalup (Samburu word for 1000) vision, planting 1000 churches in Samburu county, with the goal of introducing 50,000 people to Jesus. The Nkalup vision is focused on all the tribes of Samburu county: Samburu, Turkana, Pokot, Borana, Rendile and Somali.
As of December 31, 2017 the Nkalup vision has reached 55% of its goal of a thousand churches and has trained 600 pastors. By God's grace, the Nkalup vision will be realized in 2023.
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, Here I am. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8
We work with all denominations to embrace the call to mission to the unreached. GGFAN provides training and empowerment through our Pastor School to equip pastors with the ability to spread the Word of God throughout all the tribes of Kenya. This partnership has allowed GGFAN to create a strong network.
The Department of Church Empowerment oversees the planted churches with ministry, fellowship and love, bringing these remote tribes closer to Christ. The department also coordinates regional church growth seminars and annual national conferences.
Under this strategic strategy, GGFAN churches have grown to become self-supporting through local giving.
"Local partnerships are the lifeblood of ministry at Spoken Worldwide. From our earliest conversations with Bishop Simon and the wonderful team of GGFAN staff, we have been impressed by the humility, transparency and dedication they exhibit. It has been our joy to partner together in reaching oral learners since 2008!"
