Duncan Kahunyo serves as the headteacher of the LittleLambs Academy. He is a teacher by profession and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Before joining the Little Lambs Academy fraternity, he was a teacher in Kiambu County Kenya, where he was awarded for being the best teacher in the region. Duncan is married and has 2 children.

The role of the Head Teacher at Little Lambs Academy are as follows:
- Overall leadership and management of the kindergarten and the primary school
- Ensuring the school maintains a safe environment that is safe for all learners and staff
- Ensuring prudent utilization and maintenance of ALL institution’s resources
- Co-ordinating learning programs and activities
- Ensuring quality control and assurance in the institution
- Delegation of duties and responsibilities to the staff
- Ensuring compliance with all the legal and regulatory requirements ensuring timely preparation and submission of management and statutory reports
- Ensuring the institution maintains develops and maintains good relations with all stakeholders
- Maintain an effective disciplinary and grievance-handling system
- Admission of students who meet the requirements set by the management
- Receiving and responding to all communications from the Ministry of Education
- Ensuring the institution has enough resources to learn all its operations
- Advising the management on the necessary matters that will help better the services in the institution
- Supervision of work by hired casual workers
