Kinyanjui Wanjiku serves as the Head of Communications. He is an undergraduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

The roles of the Communications Director are as follows:
- Writing and sending monthly GGFAN newsletters
- Editing and updating ALL GGFAN and HOTGS social media pages
- Constant updating of the GGFAN website
- Support all staff with presentation design and critical data visualization
- Preparation of speeches and reports required by the Management
- Writing and replying to organizations with the consent of the General Overseer
- Dealing with inquiries from the various stakeholders
- Liaising with the Graphic Designer and Videographer to develop and produce communication materials
- Coordination of communication-related training or events for staff or partners
- Managing search engine and publishing organization-friendly content on the website and other GGFAN-related microsites
- Maintaining a collection of photos, graphics, icons, information graphics, data bites, and video clips.
- Performing ANY OTHER duties assigned by the Management
