LITTLE LAMBS ACADEMY ACCOUNTANT
Roles and responsibilities includes:
Collecting , analysing and receipting school fees
Checking if the bank slips issued by the parents are authentic
Updating school fees balance in computer system
Advising the head teacher on the status of school fees balance on weekly basis
Preparation of cheque request forms making sure they are authorised by the general overseer.
Outsourcing and purchasing of the required items.
Preparation of payment vouchers making sure they are signed by the designated recipient of
the payment. (Avoid diversion of the amount withdrawn for specified purposes).
Present the payment vouchers for cross checking by the chief accountant before the next
check request form is presented.
Preparation of a summarised spreadsheet of the expenditures incurred, to be submitted to the
Preparation of an analytical cashbook (To be done on a day to day basis).
Acting as the final representative of the organisation in terms of making payment and
receiving income. (No third parties should be involved).
Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the management
